 APRA’s sadistic rebellion : Nomis

The APRA uprising in  West Java in 1950 had a purpose

The APRA uprising in  West Java in 1950 had quite a few goals.   Various parties have called the  uprising one of the bloodiest events in  West  Java province. At that time there  were  great murders , which took many losses.

In the past, there had been various kinds of attacks. This included attacks in Sulawesi.  Until 1950,  massacres in  West Java province were  carried out.   The attack was led directly by  Captain WesTerling.   He together with  APRA (Angkatan War of  the Fair Queen) along with 800 people   viciously committed  various kinds of cruel acts.

APRA’s abhorrent uprising  in   West Java

The bloody assault  with the victims of APRIS members was led by Piere Westerling.   It was in  1950 that the attack took place. This was just done in January 23 October.   Reports say that Westerling had 500 thousand soldiers who formed a secret organization.

It was delivered directly by JM Verburgh, who was a police inspector from the Netherlands.   Reports were received  that the secret organization was called Ratu Adil Persatuan Indonesia.   Meanwhile, the organization has  armed units.   This is called APRA.

The APR uprising in  West Java in 1950 had specific goals. When  it was formed,  Westerling contacted the  commander-in-chief of the Dutch  army named Buurman Van Vreeen.    The meeting was held by Westerling to discuss plans for  a rebellion in President Sukarno’s government.

Finally, since in 1950 it was  the 5th.   In January, Piere Westerling sent  his ultimatum to RIS.   In essence, he requested that RIS respect states such as Pasundan State.   He also  asked  RIS to  recognize that APRA is an armed force and serves as a Pasundan soldier.

Nevertheless, the ultimatum was apparently not answered.  Finally,  he  decided to carry out a coup.   Westerling and  his followers shot and killed the  armed forces they found.   A number of his troops,  along with Sergeant Meijer, were sent into the city of Jakarta to make arrests against Soekarno.

The APRA uprising in  West Java in 1950  e.Kr.  had the goal of

This massive uprising  in  West Java province  was  carried out  after Indonesia gained independence.   Resistance continued to be carried out in various places, until one day Indonesia actually became independent with its own hands.

However, various disputes or problems apparently arose after independence was announced.  In fact, the APRA uprising   in West Java in 1950  had  quite a few goals.

  1. Maintenance of RIS

Various negotiations have  been  conducted by  the  Dutch colonizers and the  Republic of Indonesia and  have always been the Indonesian side  , often  suffering losses  .   For example,  when  negotiations such as Linggarjati and Renville were held, but it  turned out  that  the Dutch side refused it.

Various parties lead the Republic of Indonesia.   Nevertheless, there  are also those who want RIS to remain.   They are APRA supporters.   Supporters of  the unitary state were eventually paralyzed by the APRA side

  1. The Netherlands will be safe in Indonesia

The APRA uprising in West Java in  1950 also aimed to keep the Dutch safely afloat  in Indonesia.    The existence of these colonists in Indonesia,  apparently, brought them a great profit.   They get funds from the colonies to live.

Of   course, the benefits were obtained by the Dutch  side from different areas.   The APRA rebellion  was also carried out  as a way out to maintain its position in Indonesia.

  1. Pasundan states  can be defended

Negara Federal Pasundan is actually part of RIS.  The location is in West Java province.  The Dutch did  it  to support it with  people who were not on the side of the Republic of Indonesia. It was only done with a promise to the Indonesian people.

  1. Creation of a federal state

The APR uprising in  West Java in  1950 aimed to establish a federal state in the country.    This is the  main purpose of  the establishment of APRA.   This is done by  killing various important parties to start the action.

  1. Defending his own army

Belanda also wants to have its  own army in her state.  The right  to freedom to govern the territory.   Those who joined the APRA  were  soldiers who were not accepted into APRIS due to  lack  of  requirements. So APRA will be used as the main army in Pasundan State.

 APRA’s sadistic rebellion

The APRA uprising in  West Java in 1950 had a very sadistic purpose.   This rebellion left very deep wounds. Bandung is like a dead town in early 1950. Early in the  morning precisely on January 23, 1950,  troops moved  to various positions in the city of Bandung.

The soldier was the leader of  Raymond Westerling, the queen of APRA.   The movement continued to be carried out by APRA forces.   They walked,  rode heaths, jeeps and much more. These soldiers will rebel against civilians, seize goods and carry out various forms of torture.

Bandung  residents were scared.   All shops are closed.   All residents tried to save themselves from the rebel forces. The soldiers proceeded to disarm anyone  who encountered the Cimindi road to Cibereum.   All the PRIS members  they found were killed.

The staff who were ready to go to their  respective bases  also did not escape their cruelty.    Westerling,  along with his men,  never had  the opportunity to shoot the  APRIS soldiers I met.   Not only were they shot  by being shot, APRIS soldiers  were even chopped up like animals.

Their violent actions  have killed at least 61  TNI soldiers.   The APRA uprising   in West Java in 1950 aimed at  benefiting the Dutch side had also left18 civilians innocent.   In fact, none of the APRA members were victims.   This incident caused Bandung to become like a dead  city.

APRA’s recognition of the heartbreakingjudiciary

The incident,  which was very  disturbing in Bandung, was  also recognized by APRA.   The group admitted  to  carrying out various kinds of expulsions of military figures to civilians in Bandung.

In fact, Westerling is actually targeting several important figures in West Java province.  These figures include  Colonel Sadikin, Lieutenant Soetoko as  Deputy Chief of Staff of  the Siliwangi Division, and  Major Mohamad Rivai as the Governor’s Chief of Military Information.   Military IV  West Java.

The other four are  Lieutenant Colonel Sentot Iskandardinata, Lentan Colonel Dr.   Errie Sudewo, Chief of Staff  of the  Siliwangi Division, Sudjono, a  member of Pasundan State Parliament  but is pro-RI and CPM Major Roehan Roesli.   The murder plan  was carried out by  giving poison to 7 people.

But attempts to  kill by  mixing poison into their drinks apparently did not fail. This is because  one of the members knew about the plan from the very evil APRA side.   Finally, they planned to perform a live shooting.    However, it also did not work, because it managed to reach each goal.

APRA’s truly heinous actions  may be a dark story for the Indonesian  nation. In the post-independence era, various forms of rebellion occurred,  causing Indonesia to falter.   The APRA uprising   in West Java in 1950 was aimed at  weakening the Republic of Indonesia and destroying its government.
